Lovely aromas of seaweed, green vegetable, straw, grain kernel, toasted almond, dried fruit, pastry and oak. On the palate, early tastes include light toffee, brown butter, almonds and pine. The dry midpalate features subtle peatiness, butter cream, cooking oil and bacon fat. Concludes oily, concentrated and peaty. White Horse Scotch Whisky is a blended Scotch whisky from Edinburgh, first produced by James Logan Mackie in 1861. In 2006, White Horse won blended whisky of the year in Murray's 2007 Whisky Bible.
