With its already typical notes of passion fruit, aromas of lime, yellow grapefruit and a slight background of asparagus are also perceived. On the palate it is dry, fresh, crunchy, and with a very well achieved acidity. Light-bodied but with a long stay in the mouth, it further highlights the character of the cold zone. Just 7 km from the Pacific Ocean and located in the northern part of the Aconcagua Costa wine region, Viña Montes is the only one with vines planted in this new DO, which is characterized by having summers with cool and cloudy mornings, sun at midday, and then returning to clouds and lower temperatures in the afternoons. These conditions favour slow ripening of the grapes, which contributes to obtaining complexity and powerful aromas.
