In palate, the wine stands out for its well-balanced acidity, medium body, and incredibly smooth tannins. The moderately persistent finish echoes the notes perceived on the nose. Montes Classic Series Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Apalta and El Arcángel del Marchigüe vineyards in the Colchagua Valley. The fact that the ‘Classic Series’ is Montes’ entry point range of wines says a lot about this producer. Fruit for these wines is all sourced from their own vineyards, and from different appellations.
