About the Producer:
In 1888, Spyros Metaxa had a vision and a taste for adventure. He created a unique spirit - smooth yet intense - a journey through the senses. It is his legacy that is found in every drop of METAXA. After his death in 1909, his dedicated wife Despina took over the quest for excellence until her three sons were old enough to take the helm. Cocktails:
METAXA 12 Stars Sour

Ingredients:
5cl  METAXA 12 Stars
2cl Lemon Juice
1cl Sugar Syrup
2 dash bitters
2cl egg white (optional)

Method:
1. Add all the ingredients in the shaker with ice and shake
2. Strain in the ice and shake again without it
3. Pour into a tumbler glass
4. Garnish with twisted orange peel on top of the drink

METAXA 12 Stars 1888 Fashioned

Ingredients:
6cl METAXA 12 Stars
1cl Honey Syrup
3 dash bitters

Method:
1. Stir all ingredients with ice
2. Put a big piece of ice into a tumbler glass
3. Pour into the glass over the ice
4. Garnish with orange and lime zest decor
