The wines from Mas La Chevaliere express a pureness. This Cabernet Sauvignon is smooth and easy to drink, full bodied with medium acidity and medium to high tannins.  The flavor profile leads with fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry jam, plum, black cherry) followed by earth, leather, slate, nutmeg, black tea, and oak notes. The finish is long and lingering.

Michel Laroche,a Chablisien, was one of the pioneers in the resurgence of quality winemaking in the South of France in the early 1980s. He committed to making great wine in the Languedoc. In 1995, Michel acquired Mas La Chevaliere, a state-of-the-art winery located in a strategic spot in the middle of the vast Languedoc region and has crafted this excellent value priced Cabernet Sauvignon.
