Made from a blend of 57% merlot, 40% cabernet sauvignon, and 3% cabernet franc grapes, produced from grapes with an average age of 25 years, it is a light red, ready-to-drink, more quickly accessible than the great wine.

Vinification: Parcel in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, the temperature of high vinification (30°C.), daily pumping over, shedding, maceration of 3 to 5 weeks

Appearance: Beautiful, limpid, and brilliant ruby colour.

Nose: Elegant nose framed by red fruit and stone fruit aromas, with spicy and smoky notes.

Taste: The attack on the palate is supple and balanced. The palate is rounded and fruity.

Finish: Beautiful finish with round tannins.

About the producer: Château Larrivet Haut-Brion is a Bordeaux wine estate in the Pessac-Léognan district, 15km (9 miles) south of Bordeaux city center. Its reputation has been on the rise since an excellent 1996 release of the Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant wine.
