About the producer: Joseph Bouchard understood the potential of Burgundy, one of the premium wine-growing regions of France during the middle of the 18th century. This is one reason why he didn't think twice when he heard of a wine estate on sale in this region in 1773. All the wines are aged for at least a year. However, it may take longer based on the appellation and the type of varietal used for the wines. The cellar’s natural hygrometry enjoys a consistent temperature level to make the Grand Crus created here really special and unique from the ones created elsewhere. Every parcel of the terroir is given a lot of respect; therefore, the wines crafted from each parcel are aged separately.
